Bernadette Wong joined SRO Housing Corporation in December 2021 and has dedicated her career to managing the financial operations of various non-profit organizations in Southern California. With over 30 years of experience working in the non-profit sector, she has expertise in strategic financial planning, development, and oversight for federal and private grants and contracts. Her decision to join the staff at SRO Housing Corporation was influenced primarily by her affinity for the mission and the desire to improve the lives of homeless families in Los Angeles County. As Director of Accounting and Finance, Bernadette is responsible for supervising the overall accounting and financial reporting functions.

Alfonso R. Trujillo, CPM®, CCIM

Director of Property Management

Alfonso R. Trujillo, CPM®, CCIM, is a seasoned Commercial Real Estate Executive and Affordable Housing Advocate whose leadership spans over a decade in asset management, public-private partnerships, and value-driven development. As former Director of Property Management at the Cesar Chavez Foundation, and now serving at SRO Housing, Alfonso has demonstrated a deep commitment to aligning real estate strategy with community impact—bringing housing and essential services to underserved populations. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance from California Polytechnic University, Pomona, and a Master of Science in Social Entrepreneurship from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California. His graduate experience at USC sharpened his ability to integrate social equity into the fabric of real estate strategy.
Alfonso is also a Certified Property Manager (CPM®) and a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), designations that reflect his expertise in maximizing property performance and guiding sound investment decisions. Today, he continues to drive innovation across diverse property portfolios while advancing inclusive growth in the communities he serves.

Wanda Shrewsberry

Director of Human Resources

Ms. Shrewsberry joined SRO Housing Corporation in December 2015 as the Director of Human Resources. Ms. Shrewsberry served the Skid Row community for 18 years with the Union Rescue Mission of Los Angeles, working in various capacities, including women’s and children’s programs, as well as serving on the senior leadership team as the Director of Human Resources. She was also the Director of Operations and Human Resources for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Los Angeles, an organization committed to changing the lives of at-risk youth for the better, and forever, by matching them with mentors.
